Founder of ArtistiCreation to host Fashion Peep Show

NFL Players Marviel Underwood and Robert Ortiz, founders of fashion label ArtistiCreation, are hosting their 2010 Collection Debut, The Fashion Peep Show, at Chateaux Lounge on January 9th, 2010. Their runway show will include 30 looks from their new collection, with all to be modeled by current and former NFL Players.

The event will begin at 9:00pm with the runway show slated for 10:00pm.The football stars turned fashion icons have created a line of edgy men's streetwear that is “inspired from life”. Channeling their creative instincts and challenging themselves to “create something from nothing”, the founders of ArtistiCreation have created a label with purpose…to challenge anyone who had ever been told they wouldn't make it, to stay true to their soul and rise above.

Their bold and eclectic 2010 collection features their signature men's t-shirts, and will introduce their new line of jackets as well hooded sweaters. ArtistiCreation has raised the bar for the streetwear industry with their 2010 line, as their designs are more than fresh and edgy; they are the ultimate conversation pieces.

ArtistiCreation was born in 2008, from the combined life experiences of Marviel Underwood & Robert Ortiz, both former NFL players who met in college at SDSU. Along with self-taught artist Artie Giles, Marviel & Robert developed their logo, “CreAtion”, symbolizing what is at the heart of their brand, ArtistiCreation. Growing up on opposite ends of the state of California, both partners experienced a rough childhood, which laid the foundation for their design inspirations.

Marviel & Robert, both wanted to create a brand that was centered on what they grew up knowing how to do best, yet what most people struggle to do….”creating something from nothing”. A true testament to what determination can do, both partners were individually committed to taking their artistic skills, both on and off the football field, to achieve a better life than they grew up knowing. “We wanted to produce an apparel line, and deliver a brand that encourages people to create, despite whatever their circumstances may be, by being unique and thoughtful”.

Their mission is to be the brand representing every person who has the drive to do something, regardless of what creative medium is used be it music, art, fashion, or sports. They refuse to conform to conventional trendy standards and instead aspire to bring true creativity back to the world of fashion, finding their own voice in the crowded world of apparel brands. “A lot of these brands say they're from the streets, let us welcome you to our world!”
