munichfabricstart – pre collections leads the way: full steam ahead rather than stagnation due to insecurities. This will be made clear at the fair 2 to 4 February 2010. Which is when – like every season – the fashion world will meet in Munich at the M,O,C, and the Zenith Hall (Hall 5) to become acquainted with the latest fabric and additionals trends for the 2011 Spring/Summer season.

For three days everything at this German textile trade fair will revolve around the latest developments in fabrics and additionals for fashion apparel, sportswear, denimwear, lingerie and active sports. Further optimisations are designed to inspire and make work easier (see News). Furthermore, the trade fair is as compact, functional and service-focused as usual. 730 international textile undertakings form the sourcing pool for the designers and purchasing agents from the fashion industry, showcasing a new dimension of textile creativity from airy high-tech fabrics and natural-fibre fabrics with an architectural feel to select accessories.

At bluezone alone, the point of departure for all textile denim fairs, 55 of the world's leading weaving mills for denim and sportswear fabrics alongside finishers and washing plants will demonstrate that developments have not stopped at jagged and destroyed looks or chic smartness. For the organiser, munichfabricstart exhibitions GmbH, the primary goal is: “With our munichfabricstart – pre collections we wish to give the sector good new contacts, the necessary optimism, ease as well as good head winds for the imminent round of orders.” At the previous year's trade fair in February 2009 munichfabricstart – pre collections registered 14,200 visitors.
