fashion labels set out strategies for change and their implementation. Furthermore, sustainable suppliers or complete supply chains from the MADE-BY network can be incorporated into production. MADE-BY is supported here by development policy partner organisations that use different projects with key suppliers to help cotton cultivation go “organic”, test environmentally-compatible dyeing processes or prepare firms for social responsibility or eco certification.

JAM BERLIN Shuttle Bus Design Contest:
In cooperation with the T-shirt graphics specialist LaFraise JAM BERLIN invited entries to a very special contest – not just for a T-shirt but for an entire double-decker bus. The theme of the competition was "Berlin in 2010". The winning design will adorn the JAM Berlin All Connecting Shuttle Bus to run during the fashion fair between Bread & Butter, Premium, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and JAM Berlin. The "JAM Berlin/LaFraise" jury has already selected a winner from the numerous entries: The JAM BERLIN Design Award goes to Maxime Archambault – also known as S.3. Now aged 29 Maxime comes from Montreal and managed to establish himself in the fashion sector after studying graphic design. He is the brainchild behind designs for the likes of SIMS, Converse and Groogy. Those wishing to see S.3 live at work can visit the LaFraise stand at JAM where he will be eternalising his work on a graphics wall.
