Diamonds are a girl's best friend

The organisers of The Bride Show Abu Dhabi know just how to entice gem lovers to the most prestigious bridal event in the UAE capital; an exquisite, eye popping diamond will be given away at the four day fashion, beauty and jewellery extravaganza.
Visitors to the one stop shop for fiancés and fashionistas, taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from Wednesday 10 to Saturday 13 February, can enter into a prize draw to win a AED14,000 princess cut diamond, which has been independently classified as colour grade D – the most exceptional white available – with a clarity of /1.
The lucky winner will then be able to take their diamond to a jeweller of their choice to have the stone set in which ever style they like. And there will be plenty of jewellers at the exhibition to help offer suggestions on ring or necklace designs such as Amwaj, Azar, Christian Or and South African Jewels.
New this year to The Bride Show Abu Dhabi, and for the first time in the UAE, is a collection of Italian jewellers who are jetting in from Europe to meet Middle Eastern women with an eye for luxury gems. Roberto Casarin SRL, Fabio Fanfani, Bruno Aristi, Maggio Teresa & Damianacos Damiano, IMVIDIA and Clio Pro Jewellery will be bringing thousands of dirhams of diamonds and other precious stones to Abu Dhabi, ideal for engagement rings and wedding bands.
From 10 to 13 February at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, and under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saif, wife of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The Bride Show Abu Dhabi will be an exclusive opportunity to buy luxury goods which are not usually available in the capital.
Other one-of-a-kind prizes will be up for grabs for visitors during the four day fashion event, including a honeymoon to Seoul for three nights, courtesy of Visit Korea, four bridal gift cards worth 1,500dhs from Silkor Laser Medical Centre, a year's membership to the Abu Dhabi Ladies Club worth 4,500dhs, gift vouchers from Paris Gallery and an Arushi custom made dress to celebrate Valentine's Day, worth AED20,000.
Doors open at 2:30pm on Wednesday 10 February and the event is open until 10:30pm every night until Saturday 13 February. Thursday 11 February is reserved for ladies only and children under 12 are not permitted. Entry fee is 10dhs.
