Best of Spanish fashion gathers at CIBELES

Out of all the participants, six will be doing so for the first time, according to the rotation system established by EL EGO which, at each edition, offers us the opportunity to discover the collections of new Spanish fashion values, together with the participants from previous events.

Thus, the Galician designer Sara Coleman; the duo from Cadiz, Solitas; Carlos Doblas from Seville and the creative tandem American Pérez are repeating their participation at EL EGO. For their part, Beba´s Closet, Cati Serra, Georgina Ordinas, Isabel Mastache and Maya Hansen are making their debut in this edition, showing a diversity of proposals ranging from risky, avant-garde creations to others which seek to recover couture tradition through details.

The block of fashion shows of the so-called venerated designers will be opened by the creator Jesús del Pozo on Friday, 19 February at 11 a.m., and will be closed by the designers Jesús Lorenzo and Miguel Marinero on Tuesday, 23 February, at 7 p.m. with their fur proposals. That same day, at 9 p.m., the Lancia Think'in charity fashion show will draw the 51st edition of CIBELES MADRID FASHION WEEK to a close. This show, which will exhibit the designs donated by various Spanish creators on the runway, will set in motion an action which Lancia is planning on continuing in forthcoming months and will finish in an online auction whose proceeds will go to charity. Furthermore, this trademark will have a permanent presence during the six days of this edition of CIBELES as, in addition to this initiative and its stand at CIBELESPACIO, the Neptuno fashion show room will be called the Lancia Room.
