WLFW-2010 welcomes six student from SFI

Satyam Fashion Institute, Noida, feels proud on the selection of its six students by FDCI 'Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week- 2010' a globally renowned fashion extravaganza.The show welcomes an audience of approx. 30,000 per season. More than a fashion show - it is a spectacle that twists insights of both art and fashion and weaves them into an unforgettable performance.
To continue the success that Satyam Fashion Institute (SFI) has shown over the last years by participating in FDCI, this year also SFI has got an edge for its fashion students selection as ushers in the most happening show of the capital. Strengthening their vision of promoting and encouraging budding student designer talent, the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has selected the six young Fashion students of SFI for ushering in FDCI, wherein, the students will learn the art of organizing, arranging, designing the fashion show.
They will get introduced to new fashion trends, designers, new models too. Announcing the names of the final list of selected ushers from SFI, Dr. J.P.Sharma, Director, SFI said, "Wills Life Style fashion Week" by FDCI is a globally renowned platform to meet fashion talents showcasing a synthesis of fashion and creative originality. It gives budding designer students an opportunity to analyse and evaluate the ins and outs of such shows, they can also showcase their skills at the best on a global platform. Such events push them to think beyond their boundaries. It is an honor for SFI students to work with the event management team, designers, and models in this event every year and utilize their skills & talent on such a prestigious platform with privileged people."
The six Fashion Designing students who are finally selected by FDCI are: Ms. Medha Kumari Ms. Manisha Makhija Ms. Shrishthi Sadh Ms. Rashmi Bisht Ms. Chiranjeev kaur Ms. Somya Gulati.
