Bagir opened a new design center in London this spring to bring cutting edge European fashion to its global market customer base. Long know as a leader in technology and innovation in apparel, the company is now prepared to showcase a its dominance in the fashion sector with trends right off of Oxford Street which are proven winners in the marketplace.

This new design center makes it possible for Bagir to streamline and incorporate European fashion trends and designs throughout all Bagir product offerings. Christened as Bagir Group USP, the design center is lead by Simon Kirby, Creative Director. Simon is the lead designer for the London based brand Simon Carter. Under Kirby's his direction, this has grown into a global brand. With Kirby guiding the designs of Bagir Group USP, Euro trends can be implemented across all products thus giving Bagir the competitive edge bringing the best of Europe to the states faster than their competitors.

Bagir UK services an impressive list of clients such as Pierre Balmain, Marks and Spencers, Selfridges, House of Fraser, Kenneth Cole, Burton, Moss Bros, and Next to name just a few. Bagir is already established in the industry as the premier manufacturer for innovation and now Bagir is making a transition to as the premier resource in fashion. Bagir Group USP can leverage their European collections and create products worldwide tailored to each client's specific needs. Bagir entered into an agreement with luxury designer Patrick Cox in March and will begin shipping this Fall 2010 to the best stores in London.

“Bagir introduced the world's first machine washable, tumble dry suits and made Wash and Dry and household name in Europe. We now look to do the same in the US” says Simon Kirby Creative Director, Bagir UK. Bagir holds the patent on this technology in the USA. Bagir Group USP opened the design center to create a way for strategic USA customers to access European markets and share proven best sellers and emerging trends. The center further enhances a company global sourcing strategy to obtain best in class cost metrics for raw materials and production by combining their fabric needs on both sides of the Atlantic.

Bagir's innovative technology, ECO-GIR, was the first suit in the world which blended recycled polyester, wool, and Lycra into a machine wash tumble dry suit. A pioneer in the eco business was just a start for of the evolution of the clothing business at Bagir. Their collections also feature signature comfort and performance technology such as AeriFlex, SharpGir, FlexGir, CoolGir and TravelGir. “Social responsibility is a core principal and the combination with comfort truly creates a point of difference with today's modern consumers” said Moshe Gadot, Director of Global Marketing and Development.
