Vintage Selection is a research lab that looks to the fashions of the past, and it's also a rich archive that today's designers turn to for new ideas. Once again the event will be divided into two sections – Luxury Collections and the less formal Sportswear Collections. And, given last January's success the Happy Kilo area will be back – and open to all exhibitors. It's a temporary store where selected items will be sold by weight. Vintage Selection is produced by Stazione Leopolda Srl in cooperation with A.N.G.E.L.O.

"FEEL THE YARN": the first specializing master on yarns
At this edition of Pitti Filati will be presented the project “Feel The Yarn”. It will be a competition for new candidates in the designer of knitting wear, and the first master specialized on textile & yarns. It is an initiative by an idea of Pitti Immagine Filati, Consorzio Promozione Filati (Association of textile promotion) and Toscana Promozione, economical agency of promotion of the Tuscany Region.
