TRANSIT Los Angeles Shoe Show will kick off this Fall II/ Holiday season with a new mid-week date pattern, Tuesday – Thursday, June 15-17, 2010, in the Penthouse (13th floor) of the California Market Center (CMC) alongside LA Fashion Market and FOCUS Apparel & Accessories show. This edition of TRANSIT will welcome buyers to an edited showcase and creative atmosphere designed to appeal to specialty stores and contemporary boutiques.

Retailers will see an increase in new contemporary and young contemporary exhibitors including Charles David, Charles Albert, Messeca, Mea Shadow, Miucha, Paris Hilton Footwear, Tahitian Move, Troo Yu, and Donald for Donald J Pliner Men, to name a few.

“In addition to the new date pattern, I think buyers will notice a change in the overall feel of the show,” said Brad Jeremich, show management for TRANSIT. “TRANSIT is presented in a very cool downtown loft setting, the perfect backdrop for some of our new contemporary collections like Dulce, Pour la Victoire, and Iron Fist."

TRANSIT show staples include Frye Boot Company, L.A.M.B, Jeffrey Campbell, DV by Dolce Vita, Report Signature, Seychelles, Badgley Mischka, BC Footwear, Betsey Johnson, Calvin Klein, Franco Sarto, Kenneth Cole New York, Kensie Girl, Lucky Brand Footwear, Matiko Footwear, Pelle Moda, Steve Madden, and hundreds more.

Additionally, TRANSIT exhibitor and cult favorite Irregular Choice will sponsor a daily shoe giveaway for retailers where they can drop their business card off in the TRANSIT Lounge, and be eligible to win a free pair of Irregular Choice shoes of their choice. Show music will be provided and spun by local LA DJ's DJ Barbie and DJ tambour paired with complimentary vodka tasting, sponsored by Szambelan Vodka, served daily from 1-4pm in the TRANSIT Lounge.

TRANSIT LA Shoe Show is edited to spotlight contemporary collections from burgeoning labels and established brands for boutiques and better retailers. TRANSIT takes place five times a year in conjunction with LA Fashion Market at the California Market Center (CMC).
