The IFEMA Showrooms will present an exclusive and distinct setting based on a modern and up-to-date appeal, these being just some of the qualitative benefits they offer. This new initiative, which is aimed at high-category women's fashion brands that require a private and exclusive setting in which to welcome their customers and present their collections to them, will take place within the framework of the sixty-fourth edition of SIMM, the Madrid International Fashion Fair, which is due to be staged between 2nd and 4th September next.

This new and select area will be located at IFEMA's North Convention Centre and, at its first edition, will occupy the majority of the rooms available, all of which are equipped with the latest comforts and facilities. At these Showrooms, companies will be able to attend to buyers throughout an extensive timetable that ends at nine-thirty in the evening. Furthermore, the IFEMA Showrooms will be permanently linked by means of a free bus service with Halls 12 and 14, which is where the fair itself will take place.

So far, the first edition of the IFEMA Showrooms will feature the direct participation of some 13 companies, representing 28 high-category brands. In this respect, the company, L&M Fashion Agency, will take part in the initiative with the brands Leonora and Fee-G; Michael Wagner will feature the brands Lafti Lie, Detlef Mandel (Avantgarde Fiesta), Qui Moments and Bianca; Treperte Moda will present the latest ideas from Naughty Dog, Clips More, Il Marchese Coccapani and Enrico Coveri; Modastyl will feature the creations of Frank User, Dusk, Ambiente and Esisto; Cantallops 1897 will represent Airfield, Anneclaire, Dismero, Luisa Cerano and N3. For its part, BP Studio will present the brands Velvet and Liebeskind (bags).

This first edition of the Showrooms will also feature the participation of the companies Duedisimo, Milaches, Radovan/Angelita Morillo, Teresa Ripoll, Piedad Rodríguez Alta Costura, Mireia Argente y Pablo and Mayaya.

The IFEMA Showrooms have been founded with the prospect of becoming a permanent feature at future editions of SIMM. They have been launched based on the strong interest expressed by a group of high-category brands to associate themselves with the fair, but within a distinct setting. Furthermore, they enable IFEMA to fulfil its goal of offering professionals an integral range of fashion ideas at a single venue, namely Feria de Madrid, which is easy to reach through its excellent travel connections, thus saving visitors from having to go to different parts of the city.

At its next edition, SIMM will bring together more than 400 companies and around 500 brands in Halls 12 and 14 at Feria de Madrid. The fair will present the latest collections for Spring-Summer 2011, with the exhibition being organised around a series of different concepts: Class, Warm, Charm, Natural, Agents, Man, Gala, Touch, hop, Moon & Sun y Ready. Furthermore, the EGO Section, a new area that was launched last February for up-and-coming designers, will enable a number of young creators to exhibit their collections based on a series of special participation conditions. In short, one of the most important fashion fairs in Europe will present a larger exhibition based on an improved layout.

Throughout the course of the fair, SIMM will be open from 9.30 a.m. through to 7.30 p.m. over its first two days, and between 9.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on the Saturday.
