Blink to feature the latest trends in denim

The Wet Seal, Inc., a leading specialty retailer to young women, announced the grand opening of Blink, a denim focused pop-up store located at The Galleria at Tyler in Riverside, California. Blink will carry the latest trends in denim – all of which will be gone in the Blink of an eye as the concept will only be open through the 2010 holiday season.
A 1,600 square-foot store, Blink will feature the latest trends in denim, with a small assortment of fashion tops and accessories. Denim will be available in a multitude of styles from various fashion brands, and will be complemented by Wet Seal's core denim program, Blue Asphalt.
“The pop-up store concept has long been of interest to us, but we needed the right location to present itself,” said Ed Thomas, Chief Executive Officer of the Company. “Given Wet Seal stores are already a denim destination, we feel Blink provides the perfect opportunity to test an expanded denim assortment in a temporary environment.”
Each of the store associates has been through extensive training on the features and fits of
each of the denim styles and brands. Working under the 'Denim Expert' title, each associate will be able to offer a high level of service and product knowledge.
Blink will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, July 3rd, 2010, with live music from notable area great, DJ Lady Kate, and give away prizes to anyone that comes by and spins the Blink prize wheel. Prizes will include free denim, tees, sunglasses and gift cards as well as several other offers, including an appointment with a Denim Expert. The event will begin at noon.
