21 Brazilian footwear companies participate in GDS

From September 10th to 12th, the attention of the world footwear sector is attracted by Düsseldorf, in Germany, which hosts the traditional GDS show. Over 760 exhibitors showcase their ideas for the 2011 Northern Hemisphere spring-summer season.

The fair, regarded as the gateway for the companies seeking to join the very competitive international fashion and comfort market, brings together some 1.7 thousand collections ranging from avant-garde to classic designers.

Betting on this market, 21 Brazilian companies participate in GDS through the Footwear Exports– Program of Promotion to Footwear Exports, developed by ABICALÇADOS -Brazilian Association of the Footwear Industry) jointly with the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brazil)

Brazil will be represented in Düsseldorf by the following companies: Pegada, Ramarim, Nicolla Mezzi, Klin, Bottero – with the brands Bottero and Madeira Brasil -, Pé com Pé, Kidy, Bical, Pampili, Bibi and Ortopé, that will be showcasing their products in the collective Brazilian booth, located in Hall 6, together with the most traditional brands. Grendene – showing its Rider, Ipanema and Grendha -, Via Uno, Miezko, Anatomic & Co – Anatomic Gel Technology, Beira Rio – with Beira Rio, Vizzano and Toccado -, Sapatoterapia, Democrata, Villione, Piccadilly, and Dilly will be showcasing in individual booths.
