Pearl Academy of Fashion bags three projects under UKIERI

Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF), India's leading fashion and design institute has been awarded 3 projects under UKIERI (UK-India Education and Research Initiative) with:
(i) Ravensbourne College of Communication & Design for exploration of design and supply chain across India and UK.
(ii) Adam Smith College (Scotland) for building an understanding of collaborative work links between the Scottish and Indian education sector in the area of new media and
(iii) London College of Fashion for understanding skills required by graduates to bring in sustainability into the Fast Fashion.
The objective of the current project with London College of Fashion: Mapping Employers Engagement in The Fast Fashion and Using It as a Tool to Deliver Skills Required in the Global Supply Chain.
The project aims is to address the challenges of embedding professional and technical skills into the creative fashion curriculum through staff development exchanges. Both Teams have been investigating through both primary and secondary research what skills are needed by the fashion professionals to ensure they can adapt to tomorrows challenges in such competitive and difficult trading situations.
Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF) is a leading fashion and design institute with international presence. From an institute, which started with 47 students in 1993, the Academy currently has over 1600 students on its roll in its state-of-the-art campuses in Delhi, Jaipur and Chennai within India and in Dhaka and UAE abroad.
