Biyani associates with New York Fashion Advisory Board

The icon of India's present retail market – Kishore Biyani is well-known for looking after the market needs of the common mass. He is all set to give advice to the latest fashion designers from the main business centers of New York.
Biyani – the CEO and the Managing Director of Pantaloon Retail, has become an associate of the New York Fashion Advisory Board, after an appeal made by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC).
The advisory board functions in association with the Mayor of the city – Michael R Bloomberg, on matters which influence the fashion industry of the city.
In a statement Biyani expressed that, it is exciting to note that the advisory board is looking forward to India's participation in the city's fashion industry. Besides, this is going to improve India's scenario in the global fashion arena and widen its scope.
He added that the Future Group is among the topmost competitors of the Indian fashion industry, which generates a business of Rs 35 billion every year.
He is optimistic that the position offered to him will enable him to exchange ideas with international fashionistas.
