Top fashion designers in Zurich to enjoy four days of fashion

The inaugural Charles Vögele Fashion Days will commence in Zurich this season from November 3-6, 2010. Over the course of four days nearly 25 Swiss designers will present their collections alongside some of today's top international designers including Missoni, Kaviar Gauche, Alexander Wang, Guido Maria Kretschmer and Jason Wu.

This international spectacle will be open to the public - tickets for the individual designer runway shows will be available for purchase in various categories. The title sponsor Charles Vögele will be inaugurating the Opening Night with three fashion shows: Casa Blanca, Lingerie and the collection „Biaggini Violett“, designed by Penélope and Mònica Cruz.

Zurich – October 2010. Fashion followers can log on to ticketcorner.ch to purchase their tickets for the very first Charles Vögele Fashion Days Zurich. Ticket holders will receive access to the various designer runway shows taking place in the historic industrial hall “Puls 5” as well as a VIP experience in the event's two story hospitality tent on the Turbinenplatz.

Title sponsor Charles Vögele will be inaugurating the Fashion Days on Wednesday, the 3rd of November. A major highlight will be the launch of their new brand „Biaggini Violett“, which will premiere the presentation of its collection for the audience of the Fashion Days. The attractive kid's collection by Charles Vögele will close the event with a fashion show.

Kaviar Gauche presents the „annabelle Award“
During Charles Vögele Fashion Days, the Annabelle award will be presented for the seventh year, to an esteemed alumnus of a Swiss fashion school. This award, presented by the famous German label Kaviar Gauche will give one winner the opportunity to experience a one year internship at Kaviar Gauche in Berlin. Behind the feminine and avant-garde designs of Kaviar Gauche are top designer's Alexandra Fischer-Roehler and Johanna Kühl, who have been noted for their designs of understated elegance and adored by actresses and models such as Heike Makatsch, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and many others.

Both designers having had extensive experience in the industry, Johanna Kühl who had the pleasure of working in the atelier of Vivienne Westwood and later with the Parisian designer Martine Sitbon while Alexandra Fischer-Roehler presented her collection at the “Moët & Chandon Fashion Debut”, and was awarded the “Prix de Stilisme Femme” by Elber Albaz, the head designer of Lanvin, bringing strong fashion for this industry to the unique competition.

The Missoni style reflects the successful venture of a husband-and-wife team: after they married in 1953, Tai and Rosita decided to start a knitwear business that went on to become an icon of Italian fashion in the mid- Sixties.
