TISSU PREMIER will take place in June 2011

By abandoning its September dates to re-position itself in June, Tissu Premier, the creative trade fair that helps accelerate business, confirms its position in the Fast Fashion market.

Eurovet, the fair's organizer, wants to give Tissu Premier a new dimension since in September it competes with the big concentration of Clothing-Textile industry Fairs.

Tissu Premier thus hopes to be more in synch with today's faster collection rhythm and the fact that order periods are now spread throughout the year. The date change will offer new business and sourcing perspectives at a key moment for presenting the collections, especially for short-term Winter deliveries.

The goal of the strategy is also to offer growth opportunities to the fair's increasingly international roster of exhibitors and buyers. Thus Tissu Premier positions itself advantageously as a federating platform for countries in Northern Europe (Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands …).

It will also confirm Tissu Premier's niche positioning as a short-term Trade Fair that presents mid and long-term fashion options at the same time, since buyers today want to view the collections further in advance.

The development of the Children, Basics and Sportswear offers is another of Tissu Premier's strategic axes. For many buying offices, June represents a key order period for goods which arrive in the stores in September or even July and August. In addition, long-term delivery orders for basics, under less pressure than fashion deliveries, can be anticipated and even better negotiated during this period.

TISSU PREMIER 2nd SESSION June 15th and 16th 2011 EURALILLE - LILLE GRAND PALAIS
Finally, the next June edition of the Fair will let exhibitors meet all their clients over 2 days instead of having to make individual appointments and be late with their production. The organizers also wish to avoid the Fair's overlap with the back-to-school season which prevents some buyers from attending and limits their availability.
