For the Lakme Fashion Week Resort 2011 we are handling 5 apparel designers
1. Anupama,
2. Arpan Vohra,
3. Abdul Haldar ,
4. Debarun, and
5. Debutant Kapil and Monika Arora.

Find below the information on their collection and show details.
1). Kapil and Monika Arora ( Debutant at LFW'11)
The collection palette travels through beige and mint, warms to caramel and gets richer into terracotta and claret and finally deepens into purple and navy.

Evening attire has been the established K&M signature; the duo now wants to explore the dressy day wear category. Lightly embellished separates are floaty yet ladylike, the pieces are versatile enough to be worn as day/ resort attire , but providing the scope for a more dressed up look, depending on occasion.

K&M are stepping outside their couture sensibilities, and for the first time are exploring prêt options while retaining their luxurious touch. Soft structure fluid fabrics are languid yet controlled. The overall effect is clean, feminine, yet tailored. Placement embellishments in tonal materials are easy on the eye. A hint of shine adds a sparkle to every outfit, without being jarring- whether in daylight or in the evening.

The range offers day to evening options – the separates can be teamed up in a number of combination, providing much scope for 'mix and match' in a single line.

2). Arpan Vohra showcasing on 11th March at 3pm with Riya Sen as the Showstopper
The Summer Resort Nautical Collection of Arpan Vohra ropes together a collection which is both chic and sporty. The collection is an extension of the Sailor girl style which have elements connected to all things nautical - the ropes, chords, anchor inspired metal studs and knots that together help in creating the perfect mood for an adventure.

The colour palette is classic nautical - White, Red, Sea Green along with hints of silver studs and zipper effects to complete this look.

The silhouettes are a mix bag of casual, sporty tailoring with sleek, sharp cuts in classic wide legged sailor pants, maxis, jackets and swim wear with metal and rope detail.

3). Debarun Mukherjee
Opulent and Chaste by Debarun Mukherjee on 13th March at 1.30pm-
A collection inspired by a love story so strong, so truthful , the collection is reflective of the same.

The fabric used is cotton kora in its natural crème tone, with appliqué of gold to give the feeling of opulence and chaste. Motifs are mainly floral which denotes romance in its purest form.. An emphasis on long kurta's is through out with pleated draw string pants, sarees, can can & A-line lehenga's & mens wear with long kurta's, stitched dhotis, sleeve less jackets and side box pleated trousers.A collection dedicated to love and undying romance.
