LA Fashion Market to start on March 14

The Penthouse (13th floor) will host FOCUS Apparel & Accessories Show and TRANSIT LA Shoe Show, Tuesday – Thursday, March 15-17. FOCUS will welcome over 30 young contemporary, contemporary and accessories lines including Modesce, Lani Clothing, Mystree, Kathleen van der spek, Akela Key, Fred Sabatier, MuDan, NellNel, Quiet Clothing, Mon Bijou and many more.
Additionally, FOCUS will host two noontime runway shows starting with the Contemporary Collections Runway Show Tuesday, March 15 at 12:00pm featuring Miilla, Voom by Joy Han, Nataya and more. Complimentary organic wine and lunch will be served sponsored by Frey Wines and the CMC. The F2 Runway Show will take place Wednesday March 16 at 12:00pm and feature emerging brands and FOCUS designers such as Camelia Skikos, Popavina, Neu Nel and Bijou Van Ness.
Two Point Oh LA! will also be on hand during FOCUS with a special bloggers lounge providing buyers with an insiders guide to Fall 11 through trend installations, designer Q&A's, beauty perks from POP Beauty and I.C.O.N. and daily afternoon happy hours.
Across from FOCUS on the B-Side of the Penthouse (13th floor) will be TRANSIT LA Shoe Show, featuring contemporary footwear brands geared towards specialty boutiques.
Notable new and returning exhibitors will include Jeffrey Campbell, DV by Dolce Vita, L.A.M.B., Matiko, Report Signature, Kelsi Dagger, Frye Boot Company, A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz, Timberland Womens, and Kork-Ease to name a few. An Honest Tea tasting bar will be set up near the entrance of TRANSIT sponsoring complimentary organic teas for both TRANSIT and FOCUS shoppers.
“We are thrilled to offer buyers a fantastic new selection of contemporary brands from our permanent showrooms and carefully curated tradeshows this Market,” said CMC spokesperson Audrey Okulick. “Attendance was up at our January Market which shows an upswing in business that we feel will continue through March.”
