Walk It Out: From Dusk To Dawn by Humber

Humber College's Fashion Institute and graduating students from the Fashion Arts Diploma program will present their annual fashion show, Walk It Out: From Dusk To Dawn, on Tuesday, April 12 at Palais Royale.
The show, which is produced and directed entirely by students, will unveil local emerging design labels Andy Hall by Natalie Good and Taessa Chorny, and feature a retrospective on UK-based Canadian Designer, Todd Lynn. Lynn will also showcase highlights from his spring and fall 2011 collections.
Walk it Out: From Dusk to Dawn will also feature beauty by the graduating students from Humber's Cosmetic Management Diploma program, and hair by Donato Salon + Spa. The hair and makeup will complement the designers' creations.

U.K. based Canadian designer, Todd Lynn, is best known for his meticulous technical design and leather craftsmanship and for dressing such music Greats as Bono, Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love, to name a few. His collections incorporate a hybridism of bespoke tailoring, and casual deconstruction. His designs have graced the pages of Italian, British & American Vogue magazines, Harpers Bazaar, i-D magazine, Elle and the New York Times.
Natalie Good, a Toronto native founded Andy Hall in the summer of 2009. The name Andy Hall was inspired by Andy Warhol, and the female lead in Woody Allen's "Annie Hall". Good states, "I always looked to the runways for inspiration, but wanted to create a line that would work with my lifestyle, which is significantly less glamorous!"
Launched in 2009, Taessa Chorny debuted at Toronto's Alternative Fashion Week with a collection emerging from her love of vintage design and a sexy and modern approach. Chorny began designing because she grew tired of searching for the perfect outfit. Through word of mouth, Chorny's business is blooming and is available at specialty boutiques in Toronto.
