TeKay Designs cultural clothing to be featured at RASA Show

TeKay Designs eclectic African inspired and ethnic bridal, formal, casual clothing including the Spring 2011 collection will be featured at the Fashion Show and Cook out hosted by the Rice African Student Association.

The event will be held at Rice University, 1605 Rice Blvd, Houston TX 77005 within McMurtry College at 5:30 pm CST on April 23, 2011. Our goal, as a sponsor of the fashion show, is to support RASA's fund raising initiative and promote international cultural awareness via extraordinary blend of our ethnic and African inspired bridal, formal, evening and casual wear.

"The TeKay Designs Spring 2011 collection includes matching wedding gowns and groom's attire with coordinated floral arrangements and jewelry set. Several gowns have gorgeous color coordinated head piece, jewelry set (necklace, earrings and bracelet), bouquet and matching boutonnière.” notes Designer Kimma Wreh.

Sponsors of the fashion show include TeKay Designs, Kachi, TC, and Safari Couture. Food for the cook-out will be donated by Finger Licking Food and Blue Nile. In addition, delicious home cooked meals will be provided by several Rice University graduate students. Performers include the University of Houston Nigerian Student Association dance team and Intuitive African and Dance Drum Culture.
