Always present in the main fashion events, Vicunha Textil once again showed its support for the young generation of fashion talents and sponsored the first Brazilian edition of ModaCamp.
ModaCamp was held from April 14-15 and brought up by the Brazilian branch of the Instituto Europeo de Design, an international design educational network headquarted in Italy, the event happened in Sao Paulo and offered a different approach towards the fashion industry.
Focused on students and fashion-lovers, the attendants were offered dozens of lectures given by great designers, journalists and bloggers willing to discuss the fashion-internet relationship.
All speeches were transmitted online and the web users could interact in real time with the personalities and ask them questions, ask for advices or suggest an item to be included on the agenda.
“Fashion involves creation, innovation and business, just like the new-coming digital tools. We believe this initiative of bringing up both of these universes through opened debates between professionals and students is of great importance”, says Fábio Sandes, Marketing Analyst at Vicunha Têxtil.
The event was also sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, Swarovski, Melissa, Expand, Chilli Beans, Italian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, São Paulo Education Department, as well as the Industry and Agriculture Department.
