The 11th edition of Panorama Berlin Fall/Winter 2018/2019, the European expo for leading fashion brands, which was held from January 16 to 18, 2018, at Berlin, Germany, ended on a successful note. Panorama Berlin presents a contemporary and relevant selection of women’s and men’s collections, shoes, accessories, and lifestyle articles by leading brands.

The expo, titled ‘Shaping Identities’ - ended with a very positive review by exhibitors and visitors alike. Around 800 brands presented their new Fall/Winter 2018/2019 collections in the exhibition halls of Messe Berlin. The large number of visitors from the first day on ensured full aisles and a good mood throughout the entire event. All innovations, such as the reorganisation of the hall segments, including the new XOOM hall for sustainable fashion, the ‘Fashion Tech Area’ with various digital service providers, and the new ‘Community Areas’ were enthusiastically received. The cooperation with Selvedge Run, the fashion trade fair for ‘quality garments and crafted goods’, was also a great success.

The event organiser Shane Brandenburg said, “It was the right decision to move here to the grounds of Panorama Berlin. Our new location at Marshall House was outstanding, especially the lightning was sensational and made for a perfect working atmosphere. We also received great feedback from our exhibitors and visitors.”

Another highlight event of the Panorama Berlin was the B2C sneaker fair ‘Solemart’ on the second day of the fair. The public event attracted hundreds of enthusiastic sneaker fans far beyond the borders of Berlin.

Jörg Wichmann CEO of Panorama Berlin said, “We are more than happy with the season. The growth of international buyers, the enthusiasm of the visitors and the lively exchange with each other once again prove how important the Panorama Berlin is as the leading trade fair and kick-off event of the new season. Despite the current challenges of the fashion trade, the mood was thoroughly optimistic.”

Panorama Berlin Spring/Summer 2019 will be held from July 3 to 5, 2018. (GK)
