Snapdeal launches Ekta Kapoor's fashion label EK

E-commerce player Snapdeal has announced the exclusive launch of film producer, Ekta Kapoor's fashion label “EK”. In a press release, Snapdeal said customers can browse through an exclusively curated collection of designer wear and accessories worn by leading TV celebrities that have become style statements.
The fashion line will include sarees ranging from Rs 1500-11000 and jewellery ranging from Rs 650-10,000.
Speaking about this partnership, Rahul Taneja, Vice President, Category Management, Snapdeal said, "We are excited to partner with Ekta Kapoor for the launch of her maiden fashion collection exclusively on Snapdeal. The “EK” collection is the perfect addition to our fashion portfolio, bringing our customers access to designer apparels and accessories for every occasion, selected from their favourite TV shows.”
EK mirrors a fascination for glamour, catering to women who aspire to emulate their favourite celebrity style statements. The signature line which premiered on December 16 will be on till December 18 via Snapdeal, with the launch of an exclusive range of sarees and jewellery. Additionally, Ekta Kapoor will expand the collection to add Indo-western trends and accessories by January 2016, the release said.
