Lindex debuting line designed by graduate designer

Lindex is launching a collection named Tomorrow, designed by Josefin Runquist, the winner for best design idea and collection in a Swedish School of Textiles graduation fashion show held in 2015.
Tomorrow by Josefine Runquist is a capsule collection of seven unique and fashion forward pieces with clean cut and timeless lines.
“Pleats with doubling of fabric and the black and white contrast enhance the eye-catching effect with the raspberry red as an accent,” a press release from the Swedish apparel retailer said.
“Humans are mostly moving, and I have created garments for that and with the natural movement, my collection comes to life and brings unexpected volume and a whole new expression,” Josefin Runquist said.
“The core of the collection is what happens to the garment when you are moving is what you see is not always what you get,” Runquist observed in the press release.
Lindex is the main sponsor of the graduation fashion show and has collaborated for four years with Borås School of Textiles; one of Sweden's most recognised universities in textile and design.
“Lindex supports the education with knowledge of the design process and professionalism from a retail perspective,” the retailer added.
”As an international fashion company, Lindex has a responsibility of bringing new talents into the limelight and this collaboration is a way for us to encourage that process,” Annika Hedin, head of design at Lindex said.
Tomorrow by Josefin Runquist will be launched in a limited edition one the Lindex website and in selected stores in Sweden, Finland, UK and Czech Republic on February 12. (AR)
