Pure London seminars see inspirational line-up of speakers

In addition to the 700+ UK and international brands on offer at Pure London this forthcoming season, a full seminar programme is in place with an inspirational line-up of speakers already confirmed for the three-day event, spanning August 3-5, 2014.
 
Seminar content will take place across two main stages, Womenswear and Spirit; while, new for this season, dedicated talks will also be held in the UKTI International Business Zone, where UK Trade & Investment specialists will offer advice on how best to grow your business and reach new international markets.
 
Across these three platforms, Industry experts will be on hand to provide visitors with insightful tips and relevant business advice across all areas of the fashion industry including ecommerce, styling, and trend predictions for the seasons ahead. The array of content will include everything from expanding your brand, understanding and engaging with your customers, and enhancing customer loyalty.
 
Coinciding with the seminars and designed to enhance the buying experience further, pieces from exhibitors’ SS15 collections will be showcased in carefully-edited, stimulating catwalk shows. Located in the Grand Hall, the Womenswear Catwalk will take prime position among the recently launched sections of Allure, Aspire and Agenda.
 
The first day of the show will welcome John Alston, Managing Director of Collectif, to the Womenswear stage. In a session on the world of social media, including how to best utilise online platforms as a form of marketing and advertising, as well as effective approaches to generating the right content for your audience, Alston will demonstrate his strategies with reference to Collectif’s own social media success.
 
This will also be discussed in a second seminar by Alston, taking place in the UKTI International Business Theatre on the final day of the show, in which he will discuss ecommerce and building a brand internationally online.
 
Sach Kukadia, Founding Partner and Buying Director at SecretSales.com, will take to the Womenswear stage on the second day of the show to share his business success story and offer tips on how to maintain a thriving business. Kamil Tavas, New Business Development Manager at Google, will also offer advice on creating and maintaining a prominent online presence through understanding Google search tools, social networks, and online behaviours of the new generation.
 
Other key highlights on the Womenswear stage include a guide to ecommerce photography and WGSN’s trend seminar, unveiling a buyers’ checklist on SS15’s must-have colours, fabrics, prints and patterns within an overall fashion forecast.
