Abbey Clancy designs festive range for Matalan

The British lingerie and catwalk model Abbey Clancy has launched her fourth collection in partnership with her long time UK-based collaborator Matalan.
The 28-year-old has created the 9-piece festive party range that includes pieces to suit everyone’s Christmas wardrobe is based on her personal style preferences.
Replete with the mother-of-one’s signature feminine pencil shapes along with a mixed palette of bold reds, classic blacks and soft beiges, the range features a bandeau dress, a frilly drop-waist short frock, a racer front detailed midi, a cutout maxi, a structured pastel hued jumpsuit, a snazzy pair of leather trousers and a high-neck lace top.
Founded in 1985, the Lancashire-based affordable fashion retail chain Matalan operates through a network of over 200 stores across the country.
Other than designing for Matalan, the 28-year-old ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Abbey Clancy has also worked on a partnership design venture with the UK-based designer innerwear maker Ultimo. (PB)
