About 65% of Pure London exhibitors re-apply for August

About 65 per cent of the total 800 brands which partook in Autumn-Winter 15/16 edition of bi-annual trade fashion buying event Pure London have again re-applied for the upcoming Spring/Summer instalment.

Womenswear labels like Humanoid, Ready to Fish by Ilja, Choiboko, Noa Noa, Charli, Blank, Avoca, Darling and Almost Famous will be some of the old participants in the show to be held from August 2 to 4, 2015.

The event’s young fashion line-up will see the return of previous season’s players including Lavish Alice, Bravesoul, PIT and Silvian Heach.

Julie Driscoll, portfolio director at event organiser i2i Events Group, said in a media statement, “We are overwhelmed by the amount of positive feedback we have received from our brands this season, and the number of applications we have received is a testament to the quality of buyers that were in attendance.”

“The premium sections are a key area of growth for Pure London and we have seen increasing interest in these brands, with many already confirmed for August,” she adds.

Footwear labels such as Geox, Fly London, Birkenstock, Crime London, Pikolinos, Moda in Pelle, Peter Kaiser, Caro, Lacoste Footwear, Lodi/Gadea, Unisa and Esska will also comeback for the forthcoming season.

The February, 2015’s edition of the London event recorded a 5 per cent increase in the number of buyers. Staying true to its reputation as a key order-writing trade event, the show witnessed active decision makers from labels like Anthropologie, ASOS, Bentalls, Debenhams, Fenwick, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser, John Lewis, JOY, Marks and Spencer, Office, Dune Group and Oliver Bonas.

Clothing, footwear and accessories brands including The Dressing Room, Sunday Best, Hurley, Lux Fix, Huttons, Luck of Louth, Vanilla, Sisters Boutique, Scarletts, Indigo, Hengelo, Tower London and A Hume featured at the event.

In addition to showcasing regular exhibitors, the soiree also acted as a launch pad to meet and engage with leading retailers for the 300 new emerging entrants. (PB)
