London Collections Men showcases A/W 2016 trends

London Collections Men (LCM), an event showcasing British fashion brands and emerging talent globally for menswear in its eighth season, recently displayed Autumn/Winter 2016 collections of renowned designers.

Men's fashion is slowly and steadily gaining importance. The sale in menswear globally in 2014 touched $440 billion. The men's clothing market has seen sales rise by 22 per cent in the past five years and 17.4 per cent growth was seen in online sales of menswear between 2010 and 2015 compared to all other categories.

The four-day event that concluded on 11 January comprised 65 designers doing runway shows and 65 designers exhibiting collections consisting of ready-to-wear and accessories for men in designer showrooms at the venue.

Internationally acclaimed brands like Alexander McQueen, Belstaff, Dunhill, Topman Design, Burberry, and Coach showed their creations at LCM along with Moschino, Pringle of Scotland, and Barbour.

Luxury tailoring was presented by Hardy Amies, Paul Smith, Gieves & Hawkes, and Richard James. The best of British creativity was seen at Christopher Kane, Christopher Raeburn, Christopher Shannon, J.W.Anderson, James Long, John Smedley, KTZ, Lou Dalton, Marques'Almeida, Matthew Miller, Sibling, Qasimi and YMC.
