| Encore marks debut runway show for ‘Laine by Lauren Elaine’ | | October 01, 2009 (USA) |  |
 Designer Lauren Elaine, in partnership with JBP Entertainment, will host "Encore"- an exclusive red carpet runway event showcasing both the "Black Label" and "Laine by Lauren Elaine" collections for Spring 2010 on the Kress Rooftop on October 21st, 2009. The event, which serves as an encore showing and presentation of the LED collection for LA Fashion Week, will kick-off with red carpet arrivals at 9:30pm, followed by the first of two runway shows at 10:30pm.
"Encore" marks the debut runway show for the "Laine by Lauren Elaine" collection. Launched in August 2009, "Laine" is the casual, boho-chic lifestyle label for LED- mixing bold, whimsical prints, and fabrics produced with a low impact on the environment. Following the "Laine" debut, a second show will unveil looks from the couture Black Label- a high-end, ultra-femme collection of luxe evening gowns, ornate cocktail dresses, and one-of-a-kind party frocks.
This will be the second of two events for the LED brand during LA Fashion Week this October. True to its title, "Encore" will be a celebration of fashion after the close of Market Week downtown. With its decadent views and spacious layout, the Kress rooftop provides the perfect venue for an evening of style merging the Hollywood and fashion scenes.
The LED label officially launched during LA Fashion week in March 2008, and headlined as the finale show for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Downtown this past April.
