The just wrapped up instalment of Fashion Week LA showcased an array of Spring/Summer 2015 ready-to-wear designs by a host of new and seasoned from across the United States.
The womenswear brand Odylyne, operated by designer Stephanie Lampkin, showcased a spring 2015 bridal collection made using lace, hand-dyed silk and tone-on-tone embroidered fabrics. Based on a mix of Greco-Roman goddess like and Bohemian style silhouettes, the ‘Odylyne: the Ceremony’ line was inspired from the romantic art movement of the 1800s. Fashion label Single by Galina Sobolev chose to feature a bright coloured floral pattern heavy range which included ensembles like jumpsuits and dresses whereas the Californian brand Sea of Pearls displayed a line of chic T-shirts and tops paired with sequined shorts and sparkling floor length skirts.
Denimwear brand JHaus, from the Nebraska-born designer JLynn Hausmann, showed an exclusively American-made denim range for women and brand FBF by Checka opted to showcase its trademark day-to-night glamorous looks at the six-day-long event in Los Angeles. (PB)
