Invista celebrates 60th anniversary of Lycra fibre

Invista is celebrating the 60th anniversary of Lycra fibre, the world’s original stretch fibre, at the INDX Intimate Apparel Show SS19, to be held from August 5 to 7, 2018, at the Cranmore park exhibition centre, in Solihull, UK. The event will show a line-up of over 150 brands, many of whom will display Lycra fibre in swimwear, lingerie, and legwear.

Lycra brand’s technologies will be on show throughout as many of the exhibitors incorporate Lycra fibre in their collections. But for a closer look at some of the key technologies, visitors can view at the very entrance of the event a display featuring mannequins dressed in Lycra fibre, Lycra Sport, Lycra Xtra Life fibre, and Lycra Beauty fibre.

Not to be missed is the Lycra brand-sponsored reception on the first evening of the three-day event. The place will be a networking ‘must’ where buyers and sellers can compare notes on what’s new, different, and potentially irresistible for next year’s shoppers over drinks and canapés.

For the past 60 years Lycra fibre and fabric innovations have redefined consumer expectations of lingerie, underwear, swimwear, and more.
