Trent Nathan switches to Voyager from Gazal

Gazal Corporation Limited (Gazal) has completed the sale of the Trent Nathan brand to Voyager Distributing Company Pty Limited (Voyager).
Gazal acquired the rights to Trent Nathan in 2003, and has operated the brand, which is principally a Branded license business since that time. Voyager has been the licensee of Women's and Men's fashion since 2008.
Trent Nathan is one of Australia's leading fashion brands, having been established by its pioneering founder, Trent Nathan, in 1961. Trent Nathan's perennially chic approach to fashion has carved itself a niche of dedicated, loyal customers within the Australian market place in the 40+ year age group. From its unique fifty year heritage, Trent Nathan holds true to the vision of its creator and has become synonymous with stylish, well cut designs for men and women that are both modern and timeless.
As part of the arrangements, Gazal will retain the rights in perpetuity to design, manufacture and wholesale products in the category of men's business shirts only under the Trent Nathan name. All other intellectual property rights including all other licensing arrangements transfer to Voyager.
All other acquisition terms and conditions are confidential between the parties. The licensed business was not considered to be core to Gazal's Wholesale & Direct-to-consumer operations. There will be no material impact to Gazal's earnings. The proceeds from the sale will be directed towards Gazal's core businesses.
