Vishal Retail makes comeback with apparel format

Mr Ram Chandra Agarwal, CMD – Vishal Retail is once again making a comeback into the ever-burgeoning clothing retail space of India.
Mr Agarwal has started an apparel and accessories retailing chain in the name of V2 Retail, which will focus mainly on tier – II and III towns and cities, in order to avoid high rentals.
V2 Retail will try to get the best deals on rentals at reasonable costs and will try to be present in locations which meet its target consumer segment.
“Vishal Retail is again making a comeback into the apparel segment in the name of 'V2 Retail' i.e. Value & Variety Retail”, Mr Agarwal told fibre2fashion.
“Currently we have opened seven stores of 2,000 sq ft in cities in Tier II and Tier III cities. For expansion we will be starting with Delhi and NCR first and then moving forward”, he added.
