Cortefiel has opened its first store in Doha, capital of Qatar. The new point of sale comprises a sales area of over 300 m2 and is located at Lagoona Mall, one of Qatar's most luxurious shopping malls. The new sales space of the Cortefiel brand is aimed for both men and women, with fashion options for all, also including the men's collection of the Pedro del Hierro brand.
With the opening of Cortefiel brand in Qatar, where the Group already has stores with women'secret and Springfield since 2008, reaffirms the commitment of the Group for the expansion of all its brands in the Middle East market.
The arrival of Cortefiel to Qatar has been made through an agreement with a master franchise partner. The chain started the franchise business model in 2006, boosting its international growth. It is currently present in Cyprus, Andorra, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Costa Rica, Slovakia, Jordan, Morocco, Syria, Czech Republic and United Arab Emirates amounting a total of 52 stores.
In the coming months, Cortefiel will consolidate its presence in the area and will continue its international expansion around the world with upcoming openings in Morocco and Kazakhstan.
