Denim brand G-Star, known across the globe for its innovative styles in denim, launched its new flagship outlet on the Cote d'Azur in Cannes.
The denim specialist hosted a night of performance, art, music and fashion during the 65th Cannes film festival, where its forthcoming campaign faces, American X-Men actor Caleb Landry Jones and English singer-songwriter Anna Calvi, officially opened the outlet.
G-star also unveiled the travelling Denim Museum during the Cannes store opening. The Museum features the RAW Art Series that portrays denim as collectible art objects.
Other attractions that marked the opening ceremony were a G-Star Pop-up show, where a catwalk was transformed into a live interaction on a small scale.
Launch of the new outlet comes as an extension of the brand's global expansion. Other recently launched flagship outlets include those launched at Causeway Bay in Hong Kong, Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and Ginza in Tokyo.
