Gianfranco Ferre, the Italian fashion house owned by Italian clothing group IT Holding, is going to offer new children's collections in 2006/07with the horizons of GF FERRE's world to get broader for children from one season to the next.
The new dimensions and original allusions come together in clothes marked by various suggestions, ideas and solutions with one thing in common: they're all comfortable and feature unmistakable originally, functionality and fun.
An unmistakable British look underscores offerings in the softest materials in striking shades of navy blue, woollen cloths, corduroy, wool and cashmere blends, loden-like textures, fustian and washed denim.
The intentional rigour of all blue is interrupted by oversized logo-like appliqués in black cloth embellished with gilded embroideries, crowned shields, sandblasted rounded buttons also in gold, reproducing the must have lion image, tone on tone prints with heraldic patterns and glided details.
The captivating world of cricket comes alive in natural nuances mixed with water-colour tones of persimmon orange, mandarin yellow, sienna red and petroleum blue. Traditional winter clothing such as sheepskin jackets, pre-washed tartan wools, some enlivened by herringbone patterns, and corduroys, seem even warmer. Scottish vyelle, mixtures of plush and wool.
The allusion to sports is more pronounced in thematic prints, logo patchworks "protecting" elbows and knees, striped playjerseys, softened with floral embroideries, strass appliqués with two tone jersey piping.
