Designer Amy Tangerine launches T-shirts for Virgin's Guide

Designer Amy Tan, founder of Amy Tangerine and A VIRGIN'S GUIDE TO EVERYTHING are partnering to let fashion-forward females know there's a first time for everything.

Amy Tangerine's spring 2006 line will include two designs inspired by A VIRGIN'S GUIDE TO EVERYTHING -- From Sushi to Sample Sales a Novice's Handbook to Doing it Right -- the witty and irresistible purse-sized how-to handbook released in January 2006 from Warner Books/5 Spot.

Amy Tangerine will produce two of her signature embroidered tees with the slogans: "I'm a VIRGIN ... at something" and "born-again VIRGIN" positioned prominently across the chest.

Offering advice for women on a myriad of firsts from designer lingerie to destination spas, Publishers Weekly calls A VIRGIN'S GUIDE TO EVERYTHING a "big-sister in a book," encouraging readers to embrace new experiences and tackle new challenges head on.

The book has garnered significant attention and been featured on the CBS News' THE EARLY SHOW.

Tees will be in stores and boutique retailers around the country -- including LA celeb lifestyle emporium Kitson -- by April and also available on the Virgin's Guide website, http://www.virginsguide.com.

A VIRGIN'S GUIDE TO EVERYTHING author Lauren McCutcheon loves the shirt's designs and the way that Tan cleverly executed a fashion-forward take on the visual and creative elements of the book.
