Woodland unveils its A/W 2013 collection in Kerala

Woodland, the famous outdoor garments and footwear manufacturing company, has launched its latest Autumn/Winter 2013 collection in Kochi, Kerala.

Unveiling the new line, which includes a range of sweatshirts, windcheaters, jackets and sweaters in various earthy shades, Woodland Worldwide managing director Harkirat Singh said the company is eyeing an impressive turnover of more than Rs. 8 billion at the end of the present fiscal year in March 2013.

Other than attaining the whopping turnover amount, the India-based adventure sportswear label is also going to expand its business interests in Indian tier 2 and 3 cities.

As a part of its nation-wide expansion plans, Woodland aims to launch 60 new outlets, of which around 8 to 10 stores would come up in Kerala and around 11 outlets in Gujarat, said Mr. Singh.

Woodland operates a network of nearly 350 exclusive outlets across the world. The firm also has a presence in over 3000 multi-brand stores in nations like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Macau and Canada.
