Fashion brand Mango presents S/S 2013 collection

The most famous faces in Spanish society attended the event, such as María García de la Rasilla, the President of the Catalan Regional Government, Artur Mas, Ana García Siñeriz, Jaime de Marichalar, Carla Royo-Villanova and her sister Vega, Boris Izaguirre, Olivia de Borbón, Diego Osorio, Almudena Cid, Jaime Alguersuari and the popular bloggers Gala Gonzalez, Miranda Makaroff, Betty from Le blog de Betty, Andy Torres, Lovely Pepa, Kristina Bazan and the duo Cup of Couple.

After the fashion show, MANGO invited guests to a cocktail in the same building, which was specially decorated for the occasion, and guests were able to sample the delights of Catering Le Chef and dance to the rhythms of The Tall Tutsies.

On this occasion, the catwalk featured 44 outfits, 9 of which were menswear. Alejandra Alonso, Jon Kortajarena, River Viiperi, Alba Galocha and Anna Martinova, among others, appeared on the catwalk.

This season, whites predominate over soft camaïeux in a single silhouette, while black is used to create a timeless graphic. In menswear, these whites co-exist with soft indigos to create a smart and casual style fresco. The black-white total outfit with its clean silhouette has been renewed with hand-finished brocades, embroideries and suggestive transparencies.

Rigidity and fluidity are employed to achieve volume and proportion through exaggerated sashes which, accentuating the silhouette, give way to volumes of oriental inspiration.
