Lafuma to display Newlife yarn made Eco Life Parka at ISPO

Mountains, outdoor and love for nature are the core business of Lafuma, which “naturally” chose Newlife for its Eco Life Parka line, on stage for the first time at ISPO (February, 3rd – 6th 2012), the leading international sports business trade show at the Lafuma (booth B6 505).

Newlife is a unique, fully traceable, and certified (OEKO-TEX, GRS, PSV) system of yarns coming from 100% post-consumer bottles sourced, processed with a mechanical – not chemical - process exclusively and entirely in Italy. Newlife is a premium and sophisticated yarn, fully committed to technical performances meeting requirements for specified products of a wide number of applications. Fabrics made with Newlife are beautiful, performing and sustainable.

And the Eco Life Parka made with Newlife is the perfect example that creativity, innovation and responsibility are not just possible, but are a real key differentiator factor.

By creating the Eco Life Parka, Lafuma is able to associate elegant and modern urban style together with all kind of performances including protection, thermal comfort (thanks to its Climactive Eco Canvas 10000/10000 membrane and its ultrasound stitched lining combined with Newlife fabric) and the lowest environmental impact!

It is available for men and women, for urban or active wear. It protects against the rain and all components are made with 50% Newlife. The Eco Life Parka is designed in such a way that it will in its turn at end of life, be worked back into the recycling loop.
