Clothier Mark England's innovative survey to help male shoppers on Valentine eve

With Valentine's Day approaching, Detroit's newest clothier, Mark England DeMode is offering a solution.
They have developed a series of questions for men, "A Guy's Guide to Successful Shopping" which will ensure any male the ability to pick out the best Valentine's surprises to match his loved one's tastes.
"They are not talking about questions like size or favorite color," says Mark England, clothing designer and creative director for the store, "although of course that is important information."
England explains that he and his staff have developed ten questions related to lifestyle, personal taste and personality traits which allows the male shopper to find the perfect gift.
The questions all relate to information that the male shopper would easily know -- not details he would have to ask his loved one.
Then Mark England DeMode takes over. "Based on the answers, they can easily decipher the women's fashion sense, taste and personal style and help pick out the perfect clothing or accessories."
"A husband or boyfriend is often afraid to shop for fear that the woman in his life won't like the selection," says England.
"He wants to get the perfect gift but doesn't know how to connect his loved one's interests and personality into a fashion statement.
With the answers to their questions, they can teach him to do just that."
Mark England DeMode will offer one-on-one shopping assistance tomen who would like to take advantage of the survey technique.
"A Guy's Guide to Successful Shopping" can be picked up at the store, located at 1253 Woodward Avenue, or call 313-961-3991 and a survey will be emailed or faxed to you.
