Tailored clothier Kuhlman opens stores in Chicago & Denver

Fast growing provider of European-inspired, tailored clothing for men and women Kuhlman Company Inc announced that it has continued to achieve its plan for new store openings and has now opened new locations at 838 West Armitage Avenue in Chicago, Illinois and at 110 Clayton Lane in Denver, Colorado.
Scott Kuhlman, Chairman, commented, that they are pleased to continue to cement their presence in major metropolitan markets with their store roll-out strategy.
The pace of business in stores is excellent, their inventory levels are clean and they continue to believe strongly that they have a clear opportunity to build a nation-wide chain of specialty retail stores."
Kuhlman continued that at the same time as they expanded their real-estate portfolio, they are building infrastructure and management team to support their growth and develop stronger operating capability.
They are excited and energized with what they believe is a rare and compelling opportunity to build a large and meaningful business."
The Company achieved its target of opening 25 new locations during its fiscal year ended on January 1, 2006.
The Company remains on track and currently has 15 signed leases for new locations during the year ending on January 1, 2007.
The Company also noted that it has filed its application for listing on the AMEX market in order to improve liquidity for its shareholders.
Kuhlman is a specialty retailer and wholesale provider of both men's and women's apparel, offered under the Kuhlman brand through company-owned retail stores and under private labels through other large retailers.
Kuhlman opened its first retail store in July 2003 and now operates fifty (50) retail stores in 19 states and in the District of Columbia.
Kuhlman's growth strategy includes offering men's and women's product at all opening stores.
