Charles Vögele appoints Beatrice Grünwald as CPO

In her role as a member of the Group management, she will be responsible for Collection Development, Purchasing, including Supply Chain Management, and Merchandise Management for the Charles Vögele Group from 1 December 2013.

The 46-year old textile and apparel engineer has over twenty years’ experience as a product manager and buyer in vertical retailing. In her current capacity as a member of management, she has been responsible for Purchasing and Procurement at BiBA GmbH in Duisburg (Germany) for the past five years.

During her career she has already spent twelve years working in various positions in Purchasing at Charles Vögele. Beatrice Grünwald is a graduate of Reutlingen University. She follows Dr. Matthias Freise, Member of the Administrative Board of Charles Vögele Holding AG, who acts as CPO ad interim until the end of September.
