DHL, the express services provider, announced plans for a tie-up with Malaysia-based air express operator Transmile, to help it deliver consignments from South India to the US within just two days.
Consignments from Bangalore, Chennai and other key South Indian markets will be delivered to the US within two days, according to company statement.
DHL's tie-up with Transmile would facilitate routing of its consignments from Chennai and Bangalore to its Asia Pacific hub, Hong Kong.
The consignment would then be further re-directed to its other centres for distribution in the east and west coast of the US, saving a day's time in the process, for delivering consignments.
The exclusive tie-up with Transmile will help DHL to provide our customers faster delivery, DHL Express India Country Manager, Chris Callen said.
