Lindex picks model Kate Hudson as face of S/S collection

Lindex has chosen to work with world famous actress Kate Hudson as a model and muse for the big Spring and Summer season campaign, to be released worldwide in Lindex stores and at lindex.com on March 19.

With a warm and genuine personality, as well as an undeniable talent and beauty, this Oscar-nominated actress and mother of two is perfect as a model and muse for Lindex spring and summer collections.

Kate's transatlantic lifestyle helps to inspire her distinctive style. Splitting her time between London and Los Angeles, Kate combines California cool, red carpet glamour and European chic. Apart from acting, fashion is a lifelong passion for Kate.

“This collection is so fresh and unique,” says Kate Hudson. “It speaks to so many types of women from all walks of life in such a fashionable, yet accessible way.”

Kate Hudson will be with Lindex for three collections. The first collection is a fresh interpretation of the bohemian trend with rich, spicy colors and statement pieces in paisley, crafted knitwear and embroideries. The style of the next collection is more urban with relaxed pants, jersey pieces, layers and a subtle sportswear touch.

The last collection is fun and flirty with a strong Japanese inspiration. Statement pieces are loose kimono jackets with floral prints, fluid blouses, straight, cropped pants and an asymmetric hemline on dresses and skirts.

“I’ve really enjoyed working with Lindex on this campaign. The pieces are inspired by casual chic, bohemian trends, flowing but still with some structure. It’s a very expressive line, I think women will love it,” says Kate Hudson.

The Spring and Summer 2014 collection is being launched in all Lindex stores in 16 markets, as well as at lindex.com on March 19th.
