MANGO officially opened the fourteenth edition of the 080 fashion show by presenting its Autumn/Winter 2014 collection. The refurbished modernist building of Hospital de Sant Pau brought Spanish and international celebrities together to reveal the trends for next season.

With her spontaneity and supreme elegance, the German model Toni Garrn was given the task of opening a catwalk chaired by Jonathan Andic.

The femininity of the German model was accompanied by the magnetism of Aymeline Valade, one of the most sought-after faces on international catwalks. Natural and with plenty of personality, the French model demonstrated that she not only has a talent for posing in front of the camera, but for seducing the 800 plus people present.

The MANGO presentation was attended by numerous celebrities from Spanish society, including Jaime de Marichalar, Tamara Falcó, Fiona Ferrer, Laura Vecino, Boris Izaguirre, Carla Royo-Villanova, Ana García Siñeriz and Vicky Martín Berrocal, the current face of Violeta by MANGO. Also present at the event were familiar faces from the world of television, such as Natalia Sánchez, Marc Clotet and Nicolás Coronado.

Malena Costa and Alejandra Alonso did not want to miss out either on the presentation of a collection broadcast live from the MANGO webpage and hosted by the blogger Gala González. Furthermore, other popular figures from the online world, such Carolina Engman, from the Fashionsquad blog, and Jessica Stein, from the Tuulavintage blog, attended as guests.

42 women’s outfits made an impact on the catwalk, including those which highlighted trends characterised by a mixture of styles and textures. From army-style garments to garments with oversized pieces and high-rise trousers. In the mix of styles, green tones and blacks and whites play a key role among this season's colours.  The casual outfits comprise of leather jackets, garments with studs and yeti-style ankle boots, in order to emphasize the attitude and freedom of a more underground style.

In the menswear line, a total of 15 outfits revealed the combination of styles and trends.  Dark tones characterise the winter season, with grey, black and khaki the protagonists of the colour palette. The offering of outer garments gains importance with the variety of bomber jackets, army parkas, quilted jackets and blazers in fabrics such as herringbone. The collection also has a rock inspiration, provided by garments such as cropped trousers or clean jeans in black tones. Crimson has been given the task of adding a touch of colour to this rebellious style. The dressy garments in the collection feature a combination of formal tailoring and new volumes.

Those modelling on the catwalk of the refurbished modernist building included the Spanish models Andrés Velencoso, Blanca Padilla, Dalianah Arekion and Jon Kortajarena. The most international models included River Viiperi, Clément Chabernaud, Florian Van Bael, Josefien Rodermans, Daniela Braga and Arthur Gosse.

After the MANGO catwalk, the guests were able to continue the presentation at the same venue with a cocktail organised by Catering Can Jubany.
