Apparel retailer Lindex adds independent directors to BoD

In its pursuit to appoint independent directors to its Board, Swedish fashion retailer – AB Lindex added Tracy Stone - Global Sales Director at GANT and Rossana Mariano, founder of RMPR to its Board.
The new Chairman of the Board now is Per Sjödell, Managing Director of Fiskars Sweden. The Lindex board previously consisted of members of the Stockmann Group’s management, which includes three representatives from Stockmann.
“Lindex’s goal is to be a global fashion brand and to continue its successful international expansion and to support the company’s strategy, the extra shareholders’ meeting elected an operational Board of Directors for AB Lindex,” the retailer said in a statement.
Lindex said Tracy Stone and Rossana Mariano bring extensive experience in the fashion and retail industries and international expansion.
Prior to her current position, Tracy Stone, a UK citizen, was Managing Director of GANT UK, Head of Beauty at House of Fraser, Sales and Retail Director at SpaceNK, and Retail Operations Manager at Selfridges.
Rossana Mariano, founder of RMPR, a leading Swedish lifestyle PR agency has wide knowledge of fashion and media industries with experience from Damernas Värld magazine, H&M, Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) and consulting clients such as Louis Vuitton, Canada Goose, Gudrun Sjödén, and L’Occitane.
“I look forward working together with this competent board. It will support Lindex’s future as an international fashion retailer and am very confident in taking the lead in Lindex next steps”, Ingvar Larsson, CEO at AB Lindex said. (AR)
