Fran Matthews joins Windsong Sport as President

Windsong Allegiance Group, LLC (“Windsong”) is pleased to announce that Fran Matthews has joined the company as President of Windsong Sport, and will be instrumental in focusing the company's efforts on this lifestyle sector.
Ms. Matthews reports to Windsong Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Bill Sweedler, and will help formulate and execute the acquisition and building of a diverse portfolio of men's and women's sports brands.
“Fran's pedigree in sports apparel is second to none,” Mr. Sweedler stated. “She is the critical force to complement our all star team assembled in Windsong Sport,” he continued. “Joining Jeff Rose, our creative director for Como Sport, and Dennis Thompson, our vice president of sales, Fran will help us to best position this collection for success,” Mr. Sweedler noted in closing.
Ms. Matthews joins Windsong with considerable expertise in lifestyle brands, and has been cited in the past with the launch of Tommy Hilfiger Golf. Her credentials also include a management role with Polo/Ralph Lauren Golf, and the establishment of her own upscale women's apparel company, Babe Didrikson. With thirty (30) years of experience in apparel and premium sports apparel brands, Ms. Matthews is a welcome addition to Windsong.
“I am very excited to join the Windsong team and oversee their sports brands.” Ms. Matthews articulated. “Incorporating my passion for luxury goods and the knowledge of the sports industry will bea win-win scenario for us all. I am also confident I can contribute to building and acquiring diverse businesses to enhance our brand portfolio,” Ms. Matthews said. “I see significant growth for our brands, and anxiously await the launch of the women's collection for fall, 2007.”
