Fabric maker Mascot Intl signs MOU to set up textile complex in North

Fabric company Mascot International A/S has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a textile industry complex in Bac Giang province in the North, at an investment of US $5.1 million.
This textile complex comprises all the manufacturing facilities for textile industry and agreement was signed in the grand presence of Deputy Prime Minister of Denmark Bendt Bendtsen who was on a four-day visit to Vietnam.
Denmark is ranked 25th among major foreign investors in Vietnam and till date Danish businessmen have invested $194 million.
Both, Vietnam and Denmark are hopeful of increasing trade and have targeted $1 billion worth trade.
