S&K Famous Brands promotes five VPs

S&K Famous Brands Inc announced the following promotions effective immediately.

Howard L. Rose has been promoted to Vice President-Training. He joined the Company in 1994 and has spent his career in both merchandising as a buyer and operations as a general manager.

Rose represents the third generation of the Siegel family to ascend to management, ensuring continuity of the founders' vision for our company. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama and received his Master's Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

In addition, the Company also announced the promotions to Vice President of four officers who previously served as Assistant Vice Presidents in their respective areas of responsibility.

- William O. Cox has been promoted to Vice President-Distribution Center Operations. Cox joined the Company in 1999.

- Peter L. Coyne has been promoted to Vice President-Planning and Allocation for Tailored Clothing. Coyne joined the Company in 1997.

- Barry W. Mitchell has been promoted to Vice President-Alterations and Inventory Control. Mitchell joined the Company in 1980. He has also held positions in store operations.

- Stephen C. Williams has been promoted to Vice President-Planning and Allocation for Non-Tailored Clothing. Williams has been with the Company since 1978. He has also held positions within the finance area and the distribution center.

S&K Famous Brands is a retailer of value-priced menswear operating 232 stores in 26 states reaching from the East Coast to Texas and from Maine to Florida. S&K offers a complete line of men's apparel generally priced 20-40 percent below department store and specialty store regular prices.
